32 wishbone help

Looking for some help. Someone modified my 32 wishbone to accept a 2 1/4" axle. I would like repair the wishbone to accept a 2" axle.

Any suggestions or advice how to go about this?

I posted a request in the wanted section for some 32/34 ends from a butchered wishbone someone may have laying around.

David, if the job was done well, I'd have some spacers made up and be done with it.
Otherwise, your search for some new ends might be the best answer

There's a thread on the HAMB about lengthening a '33-'34 wishbone to wind up with a very decent copy of the longer '32 wishbone. Here's a link...

Simple just add two 3/4" flat washers, they are about 1/8" thick, as a spacer between the axle and the yoke of the wishbone. Depending on the quality of the previous modification the washer will drop in or if it is tight just sand them down a bit and they should slide in. Tighten up the perch bolts and good to go.
