i've got 32 wire wheels on my 29A. i have a problem getting a good socket placement on the lug nuts to tighten them.....anyone have an idea how to tighten the lug nuts? thanks

How about using a 5 inch straight shaft and then a U joint before the socket on your torque wrench? I don't remember ever having a problem using a standard lug wrench. Is there more to the story?

I never had a '32, but I don't ever remember hearing anyone saying you could not use a standard 4-way lug wrench on them.
Are you sure that the lug-nut holes, on the wheels, are not worn out ? You can't tighten those down.
I know of four good (about 1/2 original Paint) '32 wheels if you need them.

have you every tryed to change a flat on one that the lugs had begun to rust on. Becouse of the angle with the lugs being inside the hub i couldent get my socket to sit flat and it started sliping off every time i put preshure on it. Drove it home on the flat and used a propain torch to losen them up. (I Actualy think mine are 36 16" ones come to think of it but there the same design.)

thanks for all the tips....the wheels and lug nuts come on/off with no problem .....i'll get'em now

I used a 3/8" drive 13/16 socket with a 6" extension then an adapter to 1/2" with a 1/2" breaker bar. Seemed to work pretty well.
