32 trunk lid gaps

What are the acceptable gaps around the edges of trunk lid to trunk opening for 32 5 window? Primarily concerned with gap of trunk lid closest to rear window
My trunk lid does not fit the opening very well.

On all the deuces I've built I try and keep the gaps about a paint stick or 1/8+ all around.

Make sure the holes in the lid that make the pivots are the correct size and fit the "pins" tightly. Most of the original cars I have looked at, that particular gap is slightly less then the sides.
