I tried to show something you could use. The joints are at the center rear and towards the front on the sides. Three pieces. Front and two sides.

An original tack strip is going to be hard to find. I assume your 3W is going to be street rod. I would go with Juliano's Top kit. Try www.julianos.com Good luck, Pat

The repo shops sell extruded aluminum strips. They are impossible to bend. I think they can be bent using a jig. It would be a cut radius with sides that extend up the width of the strip. Clamp one end in place and try bending. I would think some heat would help. It may be possible. I have not tried it.
