When disassembling a '32 column drop, how do you pull out the pin that moves the ignition switch to allow removing the sliding bolt? Also, who reproduces the most accurate switch plate and switch lever? Thanks

small vise grip pliers on the pin and a sturdy small screw driver as a lever on the tip of the jaws of the pliers.

Chad Zaemo sells the most accurate switch plate cover. He sells them on eBay. He is no longer here on ford barn or the hamb

Hi,

I just searched ebay and couldn't find anything but Vintique plates and nothing under Zaemo. do you have a link or know what his handle is on ebay for the switch plate?

Thanks

Chad gets my vote also. I have bought three plates and three levers from him and all went great. His switch plates have the real, raised lettering instead of the typical repro flat silkscreen junk. Also, the stock lever will not fit thru the slot in some of the repro plates.....Most of the column drop repro stuff is plain junk. Chad has good stuff and he is easy to work with.
