Does anyone out there know what the unloaded spring height of a stock 32 rear spring is? Mine is 9 in from the bottom of the main leaf at the center to the bottom of the eyes, as measured with a straight edge between the 2 eyes. My fordor looks to be about 2” low, and leans to one side (drivers) by about 1.5”.
I am looking into adding a new leaf, and re arching, but I don’t know how much to re arch. The spring is an original 32 with the tapered ends, and has 11 leaves. There is quite a bit of wear where the 2nd leaf end has been rubbing on the main at the end.
I don’t know the loaded spring height but could probably figure it out from other measurements I have made.
