This is a home made cap for use with the early 32 gas pedals. It fits the straight shank pedals with a machined tube and brazed on tab. The cap is required as the pedal would not be held to the firewall except for the eye bolt.
It fits and functions correctly. It would be hard to find an original as they do not interchange with the more common later style caps.
