Morning
I have a deal on a 32 ford 5 window 350/350 20 grand
I verified the frame by the numbers and its a 32 v8 frame. the body doesnt look bad but the rest of it is in need of repair. no rust in the frame and the car doesnt look all that bad.
What is a car like that worth ?
I have a 39 but always wanted a 32 and if the basics are worth 20k ill get it

20 grand. willing buyer + willing seller.

What will it be worth 5 minutes later is between the potential buyer and potential seller.

Ok, This is your first post. People are not going to comment on the vehicle with such little information. There are also scammers who want to post items for sale but need to get there post count up. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, hopefully you are not one.

Welcome to the Barn.

O.K. you posted this on the V-8 Club website and said it was a fiberglass body with no fenders or hood. Technically you are buying a stock frame with a Chevrolet motor. Without getting more info or photos it's very hard to give any estimate. Is there paperwork (ownership papers) with the car? On the V-8 site you indicated they were asking $25,000.
When you said it was in need of repair. What type of repair? Lots of facts missing here.

Seller lowered the price to 20k I am 75 give me a break.
car needs rear main , trans gasket, valve cover gaskets possible radiator. interior is teal blue with white and has a cd in the middle of the dash. Paint on body is faded I would have to scrape off the oil and grease to really know more.
no fenders and no hood just body and chassis

Is it a glass body or steel?

Someone just bought a real '32 roadster with fenders, no top, non-original flathead, rough body and needs to be finished in Michigan for $16,500.

If the car you described is indeed fiberglass and needs the work you are saying it does, that is high in my opinion. I would think more like $15K. All you're buying is a frame that I'd assume has been hacked up to install the SBC & Turbo 350. Depending on who made the fiberglass body, that may need a ton of work as well.

From what I have read on this thread I think you would be much better advised to pony up more $$$ and buy something that is what you are really wanting and that is “frig-free”, meaning you can buy and drive it right away. Early Fords on BAT recently was a decent 35 roadster @ 29k, 34 woodie 28k, 32 roadster (1/26) @33k, 32 tudor @29.5k, etc. All were mostly stock & original. The EFV-8 market is spiraling downhill and I don’t think it will get any better for sellers.

Yes its a 350/350 and it does not look all that bad from 5 ft. I don't know values of 32s that well that's why I came here.
Been a member since march of 24 I just don't post much.
I have a 39 ford coupe with a 69 ford drivetrain that took me 2 years to get rite. I think ill pass on the 32 thanks for your replies
