You havn't shown a picture of the "clincher" for identifying a 32 block. The drain petcocks are straight down on a 32 block. Are yours straight down?

Mart.

Andy,

Unless you're going early, there's nothing incorrect about the upper third of your carburetor.

So you don't have to stand on your head, here are your photos rotated.

The three additional photos mostly tell us that there's even more non-'32 components attached to your engine than your previous photos. The oil pan, crossover exhaust pipe, and left side exhaust manifold are post'32 and you've confirmed that the base of your carburetor is a '33.

As Mart states, you haven't posted a photo that gives the viewer the information they need to determine if your cylinder block is the '32 model year version. Either a an oil pan level photo of the front of the block or a photo of the engine taken at the oil pan level of the left side of the block at a sufficient angle so that the crossover exhaust pipe is not blocking the view of the forward part of the cylinder block (that manifold heater on the right side blocks the view) or preferably both of those photos.

Sorry I had already determined it was a later model by the pics you had provided David. Here's a pic of the front, it shows holes gaps between the water outlets and the timing cover, like you had stated, ill keep searching for the right block. Thanks for turning the pics around.
