32 ford headlight parts

ive been looking online but cant seem to find anyone that supplys the riveted in parts the mounting brackets that go inside the headlight buckets. anyone know a supplyer for these parts?

The rivet nuts are available from Bob Drake and or other vendors.The inner plate might not be available separately but check with Drake.

As deuce lover indicates, the faux rivets to attach the inner plate to the outer shell are available as are the parts to replace the rim latch, but the special bolt (B-13020) to attach the lamp to head lamp bar, the inner plate (B-13014) to seat that bolt, and the strap (B-13015) to retain the bolt in the inner plate have never been reproduced to my knowledge.

checked them all yes. inside parts on the A lights are different I think

Run a want ad on this site and the Early Ford V-8 site for some junk lights. I'll bet somebody has some "beaters" with those parts. The commercial lights for '32 should use the same parts.

Lots of old Model a headlights around. You might look at the 30-31 A lights to se if the innards might work.

While the special bolts could well be the same as those of the Model A lamps, I doubt whether the inside plate was carried over as the outer shell of a '32 lamp is larger in diameter than the Model A lamps and the plates would necessarily have different curvatures.

I haven't found time to dig out an A light to have a look. but I doubt they are they same. you never know however. if anyone has a couple totally trashed buckets id gladly pay for some shipping to get these pieces

I happen to be fixing up some 32 headlamps and it took 9 lamps to make out with enough nice pieces to restore 5 lamps. For reference only I have attached photos of the pieces you are needing.
