32 drive shaft

How do you disconnect the drive shaft from a 32 pinion gear, or is the drive shaft and pinion one unit? Does not have the coupler like my 38

If your torque tube has a round flange, the pinion gear is on the end of the shaft with a nut just like a Model A. If your 32 torque tube has a scalloped flange, the driveshaft has a 10 spline coupler.
