32 Door Latch Removal

The door latch mechanism on my 32 coupe is faulty. I think that in order to remove the latch system, I must first remove the window regulator system.
This sounds to me like a really fun job. Am I correct?

Been a while since I did mine, but I don't remember taking the window stuff out. I think it dropped down and came out the opening in the door. I am mechanically challenged and got mine out OK. Just give it a try.

You do not need to remove the window regulators, but you do need to disconnect the arms of the regulators from the bottom of the steel channels that the glass is attached to so that you can lower the glass/channel assembly enough to open up enough space at the top of the window opening to remove the part of the door latch assembly that the inside door handles are attached to.

When I did my tudor many yrs ago I recall you still have to remove(the latch side) the fuzzie channel and the metal channel that the fuzzie fits in to get the latch out.
