Judging by the size of the exhaust manifold openings and knowing your fondness for Mother Mopar, I'm guessing a hemi of some sort or a Max Wedge.

Anyone familiar with a reputable shop capable of repairing my Chassis Engineering axle collision damage in close proximity to Omaha ? tried several truck facilities etc. Sid's & Okie Joe's for whatever reason have gotten some bad publicity here & on the Hamb site. Thanks Ron

Would like to locate a first-generation 47"K.P.x 34"or35" perch Chassis Engineering dropped axle or the 2nd. generation retooled 46" as produced by Pete/Jakes.

I may have one (new) - will check in the shop this weekend. I was going to use it on my 34' coupe project, but switched over to a SoCal axle, so I believe I still have it in the box it came in. I will have to measure it . . .

Have you found one yet?

Thanks Bored & Stroked, where can I find the background on your 32 I know I followed along earlier but not sure how to retrieve it. Ron

Personally I prefer the socal dropped axle as it allow clearance for a stock spindle steering arm. There may be other axle that do this also.

Thanks my4drv8, I like the stock spindle arms myself & have done it that way on my other 32 project with a 37-tube axle front, however my sport coupe has a complete C.E. chassis & components with their bolt through steering arms, so staying the course on this one.
