32 accelerator pedal return spring

Who sells 32 accelerator pedal return spring? Some catalogs list 35-48 and the copy of Mac's I have lists a 32-48. Been told that this will not work on my 32. Is there a source for this spring? Thanks

Fred Wilner may have one. 32 has a separate part no. in the green book if I recall.

Will a Model A spring fit?

Model"A" isn't the same. I bought both the early and late style Model "A" reproductions, hoping they would be the same as my `32. But they are not. "Job Lot" had the `32 in his catalog, but says he doesn't have them anymore.

I bought my spring from Mac's. It DIDN'T work.
I put it in the vise, heated the end and essentially removed and reshaped the end, which basically removed 1/2 a coil. It works well now, and is returning the throttle on (2) 4 bbl carbs
I made sure to keep the heat only on the end to keep the temper in the spring
