Hi, I believe you are referring to the "reveal". That is the part of the frame that is visible below the cab the length of the running boards. Quite obvious in this shot. Al K.
The bead on the lower cowl is continued thru the bottom of the doors into the rear cab corner. There are no rocker panels as such on the pickup. When you open the doors you see the subrails.
