31 Vickie - Install Seat Belts

Two weeks ago a new Mitchell overdrive and syncro transmission were installed. I really like the way it drives and expect to put more miles on it. I found my box of front seat belts to be installed. It looks like I can easily install both outside belt fasteners to the frame rail. The inside place on the floor to bolt the fasteners to is a problem. I do not want to just bolt the fasteners to the sheet metal floor. This is all the place that is available. I am sure that I can make a 4 in square washers to spread the load on the floor.


What have other people done in the Vickie?

This is how I anchored the inner belts on my coupe. The flat bar from Lowes to spread out the load fit well in the recess. Does a Vicky have that recess?
