31 slant window cabriolet

i would like to purchase the top brackets for the landau bars for a 31 cabriolet.
if they cant be purchased, a drawing with dimensions will be good enough.
i will make them if necessary. anyone out there that can help?

Are you talking the hold down brackets that are on the header securing it to the windshield top? If so, I believe I have an extra set.

I believe he is talking about the brackets that are mounted to the wood header that is above the drivers head that poke out the top and the top end of the landau bar mounts to. Let me know if Bill Underwood in Signal Mtn doesn't have any and you need a picture.
 
here is the 68C bracket,it is a little different than the 68B bracket

Are they supposed to be chromed Mot? They are the only top components on my 68C that are currently not chromed.
 
They are not chrome.

Like most interior parts they would be polished dull nickel. You have to be careful on cabriolet parts when having them plated. For example the upper landau bracket pictured. The plater wants to make the whole thing pretty. Only the center section was seen and only that area was dressed up some. The rest was just unfinished cast.
Now why not have it all made pretty. That cost more time so it would cost more. They will also grind the crap out of arms so the screw heads will stick up.
