31 roadster stanchions

Is there a spacer that goes on the bottom of the stanchion so the wing nut can snug it up, post sockets are there and does anyone repo the correct orig size wing nuts , the repo i got is a third smaller than the three orig that i have ?

Hello, same problem on mine as you have wingnuts aren’t drilled and tapped deep enough, thread on stanction bottoms out , had to put a washer on to get it to tighten. Don’t know if you can drill and tap wingnuts deeper without breaking through. The inner cones don’t match too well either.
