'31 Roadster pick up windshield frame

NOT chrome forsure... and i believe the frame was body color. [maybe black??] I tried to find a picture of Doc. Kalinka 31 roadster pickup he did back when. [front cover of a MARC mag.] 920-439-2840 wisc.
 
Black. The Model A News issue is Vol 46 No. 6, November-December 1999. I thought about buying Doc's 31 when it was for sale. Sure do regret not doing so.

Mitch , reason why i said body color [maybe black] was,,, i could not find that issue early this morning and had to run out to work. I looked at Doc's early roadster and frame was black,,, then Dave Lopes phaeton and other 1928/29 later open cars and they were painted body color. So from early black to body color back to black i guess [unless trucks were different..
 
Hey guys thanks for you assistance. Hard to find info on the A trucks. I'll see if I have that Model A News issue in my archives. Sounds like it was a nice truck.
BTW nice 180A. That body style is on my short list.
