302 Cam Bearing Installation Tool?

Hi, can anyone tell me where to find the tool for installing cam bearings in a 302? I see tons of them for SBC's but have only run across a couple for Fords, and they always seem overpriced.

If anyone knows where to find one of these setups (new or used) for around $100, I'd appreciate the info.

Thanks,
Nick

Lisle makes a good quality cam bearing driver set. They are adjustable and fit most any engine. I have used mine for years without damaging any bearings

Thanks Craig, I actually found a used Lisle set on craigslist (isn't that a coincidence) for $75.

Darrell, when I look for them new, they all seem to hover around $250.

If you have access to a lathe, you can make one for the price of a small piece of steel and 15 minutes work. Much cheaper than a universal set that you may only use once a year.

Replacement rubber: Just take the tool to a parts store and ask them to get out their 'O'-ring assortment and match up the right size. Quick and simple.
Pete: If you make your own tool on a lathe, don't forget that 302 cam bearings are a differnt size for each one. They get smaller as you go back.

Mine doesn't use O rings, there is an expanadable arbor on the end with a flat rubber expander around it. And yes, you can buy replacement rubber.
