'30 windshield removal question

Is it a big deal to remove the windshield on a '30 coupe? I need to do some work on it and sure would be easier if it was out on the bench. Thanks

I believe it's just the ten screws in the hinge. Then release the swing arms. Probably easier to release the swing arms first.

Thanks James, I appreciate the quick answer. I'll get her right on it this afternoon as soon as she sweeps out the garage.

Not hard at all, but a lot easier with a second person, or better yet, a third. Two people hold the windshield frame while the third sits inside the car and removes the screws.

Good luck!

The end of the hinge might have a small bend to keep the windshield from sliding sideways. Pry it straight and slide the hinge off. Some Kroil and a lot of flexing back and forth while pushing to the side may be needed.
