30 steering column in a 29?

Will a 30-31 steering column bolt right in and mount to the steering column bracket on the tank in my 29?

Yes, there are small changes in the spark and gas rod lengths, but if you mean the complete column, then it should fit fine.

I did exacially the same thing on my 29. No problems. I assume you have a keyed steering wheel for the shaft?
