'30 Roadster Top Stains

My roadster's light brown canvas top has several dark streaks at the front edge radiating back. The top is older but in excellent condition overall, except for the stains. Does anyone have a suggestion on the best cleaning solution that will not damage the top? I noticed on a P.S. you tube video about calling an upholstery cleaning co. but I cannot find one in my area willing to look at such a small job.

I had moderate good results using a Bissell Little Green carpet cleaner and Bissell's Advanced Pro Oxy Spot and Stain Cleaner. Didn't eliminate the stains but definitely reduced them. It's helpful to have something to press against, e.g., put the top upside down on the concrete or use a small piece of plywood when cleaning the outer side.
 
I have heard of people using some sailboat sail cloth cleaner on their fabric tops. I have not used it myself. Seems reasonable.
