30 roadster stanchion outside dimension

I am putting the lower stanchion on my Brookville roadster body and the lower stanchions are going to need to be tweaked.
Can someone give me the out side dimensions of the two flat surfaces at the top of the stanchions. I want to be sure that they fit right before I paint them
with the body.

Been there done that, you need to have everything setup for test fitting. Doors, under windsheild piece, the two lead spacers. Ford never had this area looking perfect IMO, but everyone notices it today if the gaps are all over the place. Bob
 
I had them fitted by Brookville (at slight extra charge) and everything fits well, I didn't use the lead spacers and the windshield and top fit fine. I would test fit the long stanchions and make sure they are in line because if not the windshield may crack and the top won't fit right.
