The rear seat back support, is there supposed to be a type of bracket that attaches at this hole?
Also front seat tack rail, what material is used?
Should I just soak it and turn it around?
Thanks for any help.

Can’t say with certainty for ‘30. My ‘29 has L brackets at those points. It attaches to body seam bolt and to wood strip with small slotted bolt & nut.
Prevents wood strip from moving up & down

Wick,
I have made several set of seatback spring clips for Fordbarners for 28/29 phaetons from originals. I highly suspect 1930 clips are the same or very close to 28/29 clips. I am attaching a couple pictures of the full set - front and back. The back seat clips are shown on the left side in the pictures. You can see the L shaped clips you need for the wood shown in your first picture. Most clips are fairly easy to make. I have more pictures showing where they go if you need them.

I believe these clips are in a box that came with the car. If not I can make them.
Thanks
