I am building and 30 Model a Depot Hack. I have the body and running gear. I am looking to find either a pair of truck, 2 dr doors or roadster doors. I have the cowl but can not mount the body until i know the width of the doors. does anyone know is size of the openings. I may end up building smalll wooden doors.
Thanks

one of my friends in FL built a huckster body from scratch.
he used Coupe or Tudor doors and it made a much nicer finished product than building wooden doors would- wind-up windows &c.
hold out for some steel doors, they are not that hrd to come by.
check with Bert's in Denver to see what they have.......

I am collecting parts to do a similar thing - Depot Hack with Pickup/steel doors. I already have the Running gerr, Radiator, Hood, cowl and firelaww and a pair of doors, but the bottom 6" of each is missing. It looks like patch panels in their future. Gonna be an interesting project.

Where in Texas ae you??? Ken

Thanks for the sizes. I was told by someone that there a 8 different doors for the 30. I do not yet know what my cowl is to match up a door. I sent the measurement between the hinges to Berts in Denver but have not heard back. do you have an idea how to determmine which cowl I have? I have had several Model A and presently drive a 29 2door. Everything I have restored came with doors so I did not see any difference. tThanks

The measurements I have are again for a '30 Tudor and they are:
From the TOP of the TOP hinge to the SECOND hinge is 17 1'2"
From the TOP of the SECOND hinge to the TOP of the third is 12 1/2".
There is a remainder of 10" from the TOP of the THIRD hinge to
the bottom of the door. By the way there is 4" from the TOP of
the TOP hinge to the TOP of the door.

Hope this helps and if you have anymore questions just let me know.
