30 ford 5 window coupe

I am restoring a 30 ford stardard coupe I have ordered parts cat.s and called those companies for techical support on ordering my parts, such as upper door plates and bumpers which mine does no have at the moment Iwould really like to do the car right but no one can help me . Is there any book or books out there that show detailed pictures and how everything goes together. if you could help me I would greatly thank you.

There is a book out there that specifically is written for coupe restoration. The dealers like Brattons and Snyders carry it I believe.

What specifically do you need help with?

I am on my 4th coupe now since 1970.

Model A Ford Mechanics Handbook by Les Andrews Vol 1& 2 I love them...but that's just my opinion. I am also doing a coupe....but the books are good for every car.
 
Les Andrews' books Volumes 1 through 3 are a must, especially Volume 1. I could not have done my Coupe without them. Ask questions on this forum as well. You will always get an answer. There are many people who frequent this forum with very extensive knowledge.

At what point are you right now? I pretty much just finished my '30 coupe and like you, I could not have done it without the help of many others. This site has been like getting a Masters (well maybe not quite that far yet) Degree in Model A's. This is also my first old Ford. I love it.
 
I am really intersted in the doors and trunk in the mac parts book it show parts like upper door plate, door bumper and seals would like to buy all that but no clue where it goes

Just where are you located?

Call Brattons at 800-255-1929...they have a book called "Practical Information about 30-31 Coupes "A to Z". Ask for item 37760.
