30 coupe window channel

I'm about to install new window channels in my 30 coupe. I have new channels from Snyder's, but the originals had a rolled metal edge. These new ones do not. Are more authentic channels available?

Also, Snyder's reccommends just gluing the channels in place with trim cement. Does this work? have any of you tried it?

I have purchased the window felts with and without the clips riveted to the ends. I will only buy the riveted ends in the future. It's a pain to drill and rivet your own, plus the felts with the riveted ends were better quality. I wouldn't glue the channels, but would use the clips to secure the ends, as was originally done. And, this was a 1930 Coupe I installed the felts on.
