30 coupe top wood

What started out as paint prep has turned into wood replacement for the top!:( We won't go there. After removing the tworn roof material, I discovered the header is rotten and the bows are not attached. Screws stripped out. I believe I will purchase a new top wood kit from snyders, but would like to know just what will be involved in installing it. Anyone have or know of step by step installation instructions?
thanks

Assuming you have original wood in there now (not always the case, no matter what you think). Take lots of pictures. You will want to enlarge the bolt holes in the new wood a little. The only adjustments I had to do was to sand and shave a little wood off of the curved portion where the visor fits the top front outside ends of the header wood.

Les Andrew's book, "Model A Ford Mechanic's Handbook, Vol II" has a section on replacing top wood on several models, including 30 coupes.
