'30 Coupe Seat

Did the seat cushion springs originally have a wood frame attached to it on the bottom side in addition to the wood frame that fastens to the sliding rails on the seat riser?

Yes.

Yes, the wood frame (to which the springs are attached) has two holes on the front of the frame that index into two 3/4 inch high, index finger size, pins. These pins keep the seat cushion in place. If you would like to see a picture, I'll post several. Gar Williams

While we are talking about a 30 Coupe seat, is this the same seat assembly (except upholstery) as a 30 Cabriolet 68B ( with adjustable rails) ? TIA

Please do. My seat frame is new wood and has no holes for locating pins.

How about the height of the seat..In looking out my windshield in the rain, the wiper path is below my line of sight (I am 5'8")..
This is a reproduction seat.
