30 ccpu mat

how is the floor mat on a late 30 ccpu held to the floor snaps.does it use carpet snaps ?

The ones I have seen attach to small studs on the top of the toe board bottom of the fire wall. the re-pop mats have holes the allow for this and some actually fit nicely.
I am trying to find a mat that will fit the four speed.
