Does anyone know a windshield shop/installer/individual that can install the windshield glass into the frame assembly, with the proper lacing, etc. I gave up trying to figure it out. I live in the central NJ area, and will travel reasonably. Thanks!
 
For the do it yourselfers make sure you get the correct thickness setting material. The first one I ordered was too thick, and the next one I ordered from another supply house was just right. Had I kept trying to install the first one, I know I would have broken the glass.

I'd look up a local auto glass shop and they should be able to do it for you.
 
No local shops will touch it. There isn't anyone I know near me that knows the "old school" way of installing it.They only do "new" car insurance work. That's why we have the highest insurance rates in the country....
