30 Briggs Dome Light Switch Style?

I am installing a new dome light switch for my 1930 Briggs Town Sedan but am having trouble finding out what type goes in the door pillar. I have seen black toggle switches, short, stubby black buttons with grooves and push pull. Does anyone know what type the Briggs came with and if so do you have a picture? Thanks. Jim
 
studdy black botton with groves. they are a little slide switch, it slide up for on and down for off. Bratton`s part#19690

My mid to late 1930 Briggs TS has an original dome light switch which looks just like the one in the same catalog which JW described above, with same Off/On positions.

Hope this helps to confirm which type of switch was originally provided .
 
I feel your pain on this one Jim. Even with a decent attempt in the JS I am abit confused on which switch was used when. The good news for you is the later switch was used well into the flathead V8 era. Rod
