Thanks for posting those photos. Is the exterior texture similar to a vinyl? It looks from the photo like the pattern in it might be more of a heat embossed texture rather than an actual weave. Second, my monitor makes it look sort of olive drab/gray. Is that correct or just my monitor settings?

And for whatever its worth, I have to agree with Brent on this one. If Henry could make this stuff with 1930 technology then there's no reason it can't be made again today. It might cost $50,000 a yard to do it, but there's no reason it couldn't be done.

Looks to me like you could come pretty close just by painting a modern canvas top.

Thats what was done with mine . Standard Black Lebonney Barron top spray painted grey and then flecked with darker grey. Looks pretty good to me. I love my Sports Coupe! Never wished it was a cabriolet.
