Too many projects and I need to thin the herd. I have 3 bikes, 2 cars, 2 trucks and a race car. I need to make some room. I will never have time to do this project anyway so hopefully I can put it in the hands of someone who does. $2700 takes everything I have for it. Includes a 1930 NY transferable registration.
I am hoping to find a local guy to take it as you surely will want to come and see all the pieces in person. I can deliver it within 100 miles or so for cost of gas and tolls. PM or call mike at 908-612-7682.
I will try to get some pix up but it is tough to get all the pieces out and there would be a hundred pix. If you want to come see it all just call.
Obviously this is a disassembled car. Not every single last piece is here.
30 frame and running gear. Brakes all rebuilt. New linings. New front shackle kit. New rear shock link h.ware. Various new chassis parts like some brake return springs, pivot ball h.ware etc. Engine out of a running car. Trans and clutch good. Rear gone through. I have been doing little things to get the engine running but have not got to that point yet. It has new plugs and a belt and some new gaskets but I needed to get a coil and a rotor and haven't had time to get them. It has a new 6v battery and cables. Radiator is good, hoses are old but hold water. Pedals all operational as are the timing and idle controls and steering. All rolling on real FORD 16 x 4 steelies and roller tires. This is a decent usable chassis, not a rusted together field find but not restored either. I was going for a fun beater but one that would get to where I was going and home again.
Body needs assembly. It was a collection of pieces over the last 5 years. A late 31 cowl and the front half of the subrails. Solid gas tank. a nice roof (3 pieces). A set of decent workable quarters. 2 crappy deck lids. A set of chopped rusted doors (good to use for body spacing. can be saved with enough time and skill). There are some windshields and frames, a few body filler pieces, a louvered visor, seat riser, a seat frame assembly, package tray, floor wood, Grille shell and support rods( on the car already). Some headlight parts and a headlight bar. Probably more that I am forgetting. About 5 milk crate of spare banger parts.
