Ive have a set of new 3 3/8 x 4 pistons and Hastings rings and a standard standard merc crank i will sell for 450 if your interested

The 284 is no dog and resides in my 37 pickup. It has great power and I have a grin from ear to ear everytime I fang it, the exhaust note from 3000 to red line from my stubby pipes is pure flathead heaven. Having said that Brians 221 goes very well and pulls revs that you wouldn't believe. We might have to settle it once and for all at the nostalga drags next year. Merry Xmas Tony.

I like the 3 1/4" x 4". Gives you around 265" and plenty left for future fun and games. Speedway sells EGGE I think they are. They have .060 over 3 ring merc pistons for cheap........

I also use Uncle Max's NOS carbs
