29 windshield frame

Need some help on getting a 29 p/u windshield frame apart. the glass is broken so that's not a problem, but it's been put in with some black hard 'stuff' and am having problems getting the two pieces apart. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Be sure all 6 screws are out of the top of the frame. That's 3 on each end. Then you should be able to use a wood block and hammer to tap the top out of the sides. Work side to side so you raise it up equally. A bit of Kroil helps.
 
I've found 2 on each side/top, not 3. Had to drill 3 of them out w/1 missing to start with. Kroil is soaking. Will work on it more today. Thanks much.
