I love looking through factory photos for details, so this thread gave me an opportunity to do just that. I know I have seen an original, unrestored 29 Tudor with the double spear, squared end pinstripe at the Orange County Pancake Breakfast years ago. The owner lived in Bellflower, California, but I cannot recall his name, possibly Ron Huber. Maybe he lurks here and can chime in.
This question has come up several times in the past, and usually includes the question about the top of the spear(s), and whether or not the end was closed with a point or squared off.
So, I reviewed many books with factory photos looking for 28-29 Tudors. Most photographs were not clear enough to determine whether or not the pinstripe was a single spear or double, much less how the top of the stripe was finished. However, the clarity of the photographs in the series of six "big brown" books produced by Lorin Sorensen provided some answers.

There were several other photos in the Sorensen books as well as others that I was quite sure indicated a double spear, but even with a magnifying glass, I could not be positive. On the flip side, I did not see any photographs where I was positive the pinstripe went up the side of the Tudors in a single spear.
