I have reached the point where I need to rebuild or replace my 2 tooth steering gear and considering the rebuild versus a F-100 Ford pickup gear from Randy Gross. If you have done the exchange I would appreciate your input so I can make a good decision. Thanks, Bill

If you're going to go with the F-100 option, then the Randy Gross setup is the ONLY way to go. Randy doesn't butt-weld 2 shafts together like the others, he machines a whole new one that is perfect and won't fail.

I just installed a RANDY GROSS unit. Was a little tricky getting it in but the turning is great. Starter was a challenge but is very doable. Just stand the starter on end and it goes in pretty easy LOVE IT. a bit pricey but well worth it RAY

The roller sector is a good box set up but the old 2-tooth works pretty good on a light body model A. Getting parts may be problematic for a bit. When I did mine some years back, the parts weren't a problem. Lately, some items have been out of stock and it takes a couple of special tools to replace a worm gear on the steering shaft. I'm sure that the few parts affected will be available soon enough.
