'29 Roadster wood seat support

I have a picture of what appears to be an original seat back wood assembly. I can't remember were I got it (it is not my 28 roadster, which is missing the assembly). I can email you the picture of it if you send me your email address. Basically, there is a horizontal piece of wood that bolts to the top of the seat riser. The sloping vertical pieces (3 for the seat back) attach to the horizontal piece at the bottom.

Hi, I'm not sure what your question is, but I hope I partly helped with a photo I posted in your Top Tabs thread.

There is a single slat which bolts to metal brackets in the seat riser and helps support the seat/spring bottom. THe seat back is 3 (if I remember right) horizontal slats screwed onto 3 uprights. The top of the uprights are beveled and contact the belt rail / tack rail wood, to which they are screwed. The wooden seat back has some brackets (metal hooks) attached and these hold the seat backrest / upholster springs.

There are 3 pics attached which probably don't help much. The wood is stained black and we are heat glueing thick rubber (from a repro floor mat) along the edges of the seat riser to help protect the rather thin material of the seat upholstery kit - this is not Henry Ford original!

Thanks everyone. After getting your responses I found my original, rusted out, seat riser. It had brackets that were not on my repro riser to support the wooden seat support.
