Would anyone have any measurements and ideas, photos on making a stand to build the body on up from the subframe before returning it back to the chassis. Thanks

Vince Falter's site has pics of the build up of a 30 coupe body. I think he built his assembly frame using a good model A frame for the dimensions. www.fordgarage.com

I think that I would just use the chassis or a different chassis than going thru all that work of creating a new platform. You could always sell the second chassis or use it on your next project.

Thanks that might be a way to start, should the body blocks be used at the build point or is it ok to sit on the bottom of the sub rails?

Do you have a body with good subrails or are they totally missing? I'm saving a channeled Roadster and have a two inch thick 4x8 table setup to align things. Once the subrails are in one piece you can start attaching body parts.

My sub rails are new from brooksville, i tried to place the rails on 2x4's on saw horses but came to find out i had them to far to the outside edge so my quarter panels were hitting the wood giving me false location points. So i am looking at other options. I did move the 2x4's inboard but was still looking for options. Thanks
