Anyone came across a video for top install
Video?
I’ve found roadster ones but would be great to have a correct one.

No videos that I have ever seen. I have done 3 35As and 2 35Bs, and have some pix from that, ...and Marco had some pix on his website of him doing Dave Lopes' Phaeton that you might be able to look at.
 
I have Marco's pictures of him installing Dave Lopes phaeton top, many years ago. These are still pictures and not a video. The pictures show much of his installation. Marco was a real craftsman. If you send me your email address in a PM, I can sent the pictures to you.

A buddy gave me some advise when installing my top. He said do it on a warm sunny day so the material is expanded to a max. That way it is tight on the hot days.

Your buddy's advice is somewhat flawed. Workers back in the day did not install them like that (-often tops were installed in non-heated work areas), and when the leatherette is (over)stretched taunt when heated, something has got to give when it cools and shrinks. It's either going to pull tacks (-never use staples) or it is going to tear the material under the tacks. Either way, when driven, the top material will loosen which leads to early failure.
