I am getting ready to replace the top covering on my cab, and was looking at the visor, of course there was no covering on the top, or the visor, so I have no idea how the material was held on to the visor.
So my question is, how was the covering fastened to the frame of the visor, and were the ends covered with material or painted?? Thank you in advance. ............Gary

Gary - you can purchase a cover kit one of the upohlstry suppliers such as Lebaron Bonney etc... The visor actually slips into it and you have to do some gluing with contact cement along with some cutting and folding. The instructions that came with my kit were not so good so it takes a bit of figuring and head scratching to make it look good. Originals have a line of stiching that goes around the inside of the frame openings. The kits have the stiching in place just for show.
Pick a warm sunny day to work on the visor. The material is softer and streches / forms much better after it has had time to warm up.
