The 1942 models are relatively rare here in the US due to the Ford shut down in February of 1942. A lot of Folks here forget that The British Commonwealth was at war beginning is late 1939 so Canada and Australia were converting over to war production early in 1940. We were just getting into Lend Lease in the early 40s but folks here purchased a lot of the 1939 and 40 models. The 1941 was a bit homely compared to the 39 & 40 types but they still sold OK. Folks were getting back to work due to the early war production that was ramping up. They had some money to spend and they did.
