'28 Fan Belt

would appreciate if someone would post photos of an original (NOS?) fan belt (early 28). The JS state they were 'black or a reddish brown' ... i am interested in the 'reddish brown' example. I realize computers/cameras can distort color somewhat but something is better than the nothing i have at the moment.

has anyone tried the shoe dye method? if so, can you share the brand/color of dye that was successful?

Take a new black fan belt, clean it with acetone and spray it with Rustoleum red primer or flat brown. It looks very close and will hold up well. I've been running one on my 28 tudor for thousands of miles.
