'28 Unrestored Chassis for sale. Complete with Steering Gear and 4- '21 wheels/tires - tires OK for roller only ( shown with 19" wheel on right front as '21 was flat Engine/Frame # A474399 Oct '28 odometer showed 47K, this was a 1-family owned car... chassis not used in street rod build by new owner of body ( not me - couldn't do that). Price is $1,400
Engine free trans top removed when body removed, gears are Excellent!!Early '28 starter and switch 1/2" drive with front mount starter switch and rod. Multidisk clutch, matching serial numbers for frame and engine. '28 forged battery carrier, etc. Engine free but not yet started, brake shafts have very little play/wear. Came from car showing less than 50K on odometer.
Front frame horn needs to be welded. Not a big deal. I can do that if desired. later yoke engine mount, Othwise, frame is excellent!
original round tube radiator -unsure of condition but sure it needs work.
Would make an excellent candidate for that '28 project or speedster or?
Note: Runningboard brackets were removed by previous owner, so these are missing.
Can be easily converted over to later clutch if desired. parts available on hand for conversion if desired. Drop me a line or call if you have questions.
