28/29 windshield frame hinge help needed.

I could use a little help. I have a 28 / 29 Style closed car windshield frame, but I don't recognize the hinge. It has threaded holes. Is this normal or does it have a special application?

That doesn't look like the hinges on my 28 and 29 vehicles. There are no D nuts or captive nuts on 28/29 windshield hinges. I have an extra hinge I was going to sell if you need one . It is sandblasted and epoxy primed. I was going to use it on my 28 special coupe, but I found another one. It is in good condition.

Mine must have a special application and I would just like to find out what it's for.

Could it be for a Sport Coupe. I've been looking at photos and it looks like the Sport Coupe has a metal windshield header.
