28 29 open car windshield posts

Need a pair of open car windshield posts. Dont have to be show car quality, just driver quality thanks Rich.

I have a beautiful pair of windshield post for a 28-29 roadster. Solid bronze chrome plated. There is a problem, instead of folding forward, these fold to the rear. I've had these for about 18 years and have no idea were they came from or why they fold to the rear. There still wrapped up and in there original box. Box is getting beat, but I still have it. If you or any one know any thing about these, please get back to me. They will be for sale if I can find out what they were for.
