'28-'29 Coupe: trunk floor / rumble pan rivet spacing ?

Special Coupe Frank

Now that I've gotten most of my driveability issues under control, I need to turn my attention to the rumble section of my '28 Special Coupe.

It appears that my coupe has had its rear sub-rails re-built, and the rumble pan is just sitting back there, unsecured.

Can anyone provide a schematic or locations of the rivets / bolts that would hold the pan to the sub-rails ?

Thanks !

SC Frank

( PS: If this info is in the JS, I've missed it...)

Frank...6 screws( sheet metal screws), 3 on each side of the platform, 6 rivets in the front and I cant remember how many screws/ nuts in the back.

Start at the back and work forward, the platform front sits on the cross brace and is
wide open

Hope this helps, Dudley

Frank Are you asking about the rumble seat platform? If so theres 3 rivets each side I used floor pan rivets 3/16 x 3/8- 7'' centers starting about 5/8 from front edge about 3/8'' centers from edge along the side and 6 rivets across the front

Right now I'm working on the angled rumble platform... previous owner never got around to fastening it down.

I'm tired of listening to it rattle & squeak.
