28-29 coupe door tops

I have two different types maybe someone can enlighten me as to what they are. one type is open ended and the other is closed/boxed. they came off 28/29 coupe/Tudor doors. Thanks

Dennis, the open ended style is from the start of '28 production. The closed end style is later. I don't know when the change was made, probably by mid-28.

I have a '29 Coupe with a firewall date of 6/23/29 and it has the closed end style.
